Something to be thankful for (David)

Took a trip to Garbage City.  Yes, Garbage City.   This is he place in Cairo, up a hill, where the garbage is sorted and recycled.   And run by Christians.  At the top there are churches in the rock.  Pretty incredible.   Thankful for the incredible work that is done, these with which we just throw things away.

Another Evening in the Khan (David)

We had another great night wandering the Khan.    Spice market, light stores and watched prayer take place on the roof top with all the merchants.  Ate at a newly reopened restaurant and loved it.   Good to get out again!

Main Khan entrance.   Mosque on right with large umbrellas that open and close.  Gift from Saudi Arabia
