Domestic Differences (Amy)

My refrigerator tells me what the internal temperature is (3 c) and beeps if we leave the door open too long.

Our washing machine is in the bathroom.  We have divided the bathrooms by gender so Anna and I are using this one.  We do not have a dryer, but we do have a lovely drying rack on our back porch and a lovely woman named Miriam who will iron the wrinkled clothes.

Each bathroom comes with its own water heater.  

We don't have overhead lighting - we have placed quite high up on the wall lighting.

And for the times when we have no lighting - this is our emergency light.  We have used it once thus far.
