Streets of Cairo and the Bazaar (David)

We drove through the streets of Cairo on our way from the Citadel to the bazaar.

This is Cairo!






Alleys and Streets



City of the Dead - 500,000 people, or more, live among the cemeteries (there is also a Garbage City where all the trash collectors of Cairo live.  Beneath their homes is recycling.)




The Bazaar - kinda like a tourist trap, but like markets of many cities

    I don't think those dresses hanging in the Bazaar are Islam approved! Your neighborhood is indeed an oasis from the BIG city! Thanks, as always. This blog is really terrific. Dad sees it too, but I don't think he knows how to respond...text and facetime have him in awe!
